The Hornets are going to the FINALS!!!

#4 EAST upsets unbeaten #1 Cheshire (27-25,25-12,25-13) to move on to the finals for the first time in the program's history. The Hornets battled in the first set before settling in and taking control in the second set and jumping out to an early 7--1 lead in the 3rd. The Hornets never looked back and secured the win at Conard High School. EAST will travel to East Haven on Thursday to face #2 Darien at 6:00pm. Follow the CIAC State Tournament below.

#2 Darien proved to be too much for EAST as they win the 2017 CIAC Class L Championship 3-0. The Hornets dream season ended with an 18-2 regular season record and 22-2 overall. This season was full of achievements and exceeded expectations by winning their 4th consecutive CCC division title, their third consecutive CCC Conference championship and the program's first trip to the CIAC State Championship finals. 2017 was definitely a season of accomplishments and another step forward for the program. Congratulations to the seniors and the 2017 Hornets. You have made us proud!
